(CAPACCIO) is pleased to announce that Christine Silverman, Senior Environmental Engineer, received her Professional Engineer (PE) license through the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. According to the National Society of Professional Engineers, PE licensure is the engineering profession’s highest standard of competence, a symbol of achievement and assurance of quality. This honor is also an indication to employers and clients of the high-quality standards Ms. Silverman brings to her work.
Ms. Silverman has thirteen years of environmental, health and safety (EH&S) experience in project management, regulatory compliance, and engineering. At CAPACCIO, she manages a range of high-level projects including federal and state regulatory compliance applicability, comprehensive Process Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) analyses, air engineering, hazardous waste, Risk Management Planning (RMP) and OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM), as well as environmental auditing. Ms. Silverman provides her expertise and insight on these topics through various means including webinars, articles, and blog posts.
Ms. Silverman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and is a certified Toxics Use Reduction Planner (TURP) in addition to her Professional Engineer’s (PE) license.
