OSHA Electronic Injury/Illness Reporting Next submittal deadline is approaching, July 1, 2018 Reply

OSHA’s electronic injury and illness reporting requirements went into effect last year on December 15. This year the following categories of companies must submit their OSHA Form 300A electronically by July 1, 2018:

  • Establishments with 250 or more employees that are currently required to keep OSHA injury and illness records
  • Establishments with 20-249 employees that are classified in certain industries with historically high rates of occupational injuries and illnesses

For the 2018 submissions OSHA will NOT be accepting form 300 or 301 this year as they had originally communicated. They have indicated they will issue a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) to reconsider, revise, or remove provisions of the final rule including what will be required for submission.
